Joe Simmons\, PhD will be visiting WashU M edicine this October to lead seminars focused on addressing fraud in medica l literature.
Joe Simmons\, PhD is a professor\, res earcher\, and author at the University of Pennsylvania. He has dedicated ma ny years to investigating the psychology of judgment and decision-making\, but he is best known for his work on research methods\, particularly his ef forts to identify and correct practices that can lead to fraud.
In 20 13\, Simmons co-founded Data Colada\, a blog centered around “thinking about evidence and vice versa.” On the bl og\, he has explored topics such as data falsification\, replication\, and the evaluation of published research.
