Learn genomic d ata analysis through hands-on training from experts\, incorporating the lat est AI-augmented tools to accelerate learning and research. The workshop is free and open to all experience levels\, with academic credit available th rough BIOL 5624.
Designed for rese archers and students\, the course builds a strong foundation in computation al genomics while developing practical skills for modern genomic research. Participants will learn best-practice analytical approaches\, explore emerg ing technologies\, and apply AI-assisted workflows to improve the efficienc y\, reproducibility\, and interpretation of genomic analyses.
Meeting weekly throughout the semester\, the workshop combines focused lectures with hand s-on exercises emphasizing real-world applications. Participants learn from an interdisciplinary team of faculty and researchers with decades of exper ience across computational biology\, genomics\, and translational research. The workshop is a collaborative effort of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS)< span data-contrast="auto">\, McDonnell Gen ome Institute (MGI)\, Department of Medicine (DOM)\, Division of Hematology & Oncology\, and Department of Pediatrics\, and other WashU School of Medicine programs.
Sessions are held Mondays at 10 a.m. in Mid Campus Cent er room 11504 (11th floor). All sessions are recorded for those who cannot attend in person.
