Designing Visual Key Information Training Workshop

8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) - Seminar Room B

Informed consent forms for research are often lengthy and complex, resulting in confusion for participants and challenges for study recruiters. Researchers at WashU, University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, and University of Utah have developed a novel approach to the federally-required key information page that uses visual elements & health literacy best practices to present informed consent information in a simple, engaging way.

This half-day training workshop will train study teams on this approach to improve informed consent processes in their studies.

Registration is required.
