RMS has had three brief outages over the last week that impacted all modules including Proposal Development (PD), Proposal Tracking (PT) and Conflict of Interest (COI). In each instance our vendor was able to identify the issue and fix RMS in approximately 20 minutes. The vendor has prioritized this as critical to find a long-term resolution to prevent this from happening again, but it may not be fixed for a few more weeks.
It is believed that the issues were caused by copying large, complex PD and PT records with over 20 subprojects.
If other unforeseen outages occur, this may impact your grant application submissions, especially System To System (S2S) applications. It will be extremely important not to wait until the final hours of the deadline date to submit applications.
