Join the Office of Technology Management (OTM) for OTM Office Hours: Founders and Faculty Shaping the Future of Health IT”. 

The panel features WashU experts sharing the resources available to university innovators in the medical AI space, including the new Center for Computational and AI-Enabled Imaging Sciences (C2CAIS). Learn how WashU founders are leveraging the Center’s services to developing and advancing innovations in AI-medical imaging and how they are utilizing OTM’s services to further develop the commercial potential of these innovations. 

Featured Panelists: 

  • Mark Anastasio, PhD | Founding Director, C2CAIS
    Dr. Anastasio will discuss how the Center for Computational and AI-Enabled Imaging Sciences will  develop and apply advanced computational methods and AI for biomedical imaging across scales—from single-cell multi-omics to human imaging and clinical data. 
  • Chenyang Lu, PhD | Fullgraf Professor of Computer Science & Engineering
    As Director of the AI for Health Institute at the WashU McKelvey School of Engineering, Dr. Lu brings together AI researchers and health investigators to solve complex health challenges. He will also highlight the inaugural AI for Health Venture Day, taking place September 23, 2026. 
  • Richard Clark | OTM Entrepreneur-in-Residence & CEO of BeaconNeuro.AI
    Bringing over 40 years of executive leadership and commercialization experience across the life sciences industry, Richard will share how OTM services helped shape BeaconNeuro.AI—a WashU IP startup dedicated to improving stroke patient care through AI imaging analysis and risk prediction tools.
