The Research Analytics team in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is excited to announce the launch of an evolving suite of dashboards designed to provide deep insights into Sponsored Research activities at WashU. These tools aim to empower faculty and staff with data-driven insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Currently, two dashboards are available to WashU faculty and staff:
- Sponsored Research Funding Dashboard
Gain a comprehensive view of research funding activity across the university. This dashboard allows users to explore funding trends and distribution across Schools, Departments, and Sponsors. It visualizes key metrics to support informed, data-driven decisions regarding research funding.
- Sponsored Research Submissions Dashboard
Dive into detailed and interactive insights into research proposal submissions. This dashboard highlights submission patterns across Schools, Sponsors, and Departments, providing data on total and direct dollars requested and the number of proposals submitted to various sponsors throughout each fiscal year.
- Coming February 2025: Success Rates Dashboard
A new dashboard focused on success rates will be available in February 2025. Users will be able to explore success rates and trends across schools, departments, and sponsors from FY19 to FY24 through this interactive tool, which will provide valuable insights to further inform research strategy.
