The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) of the Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases supports investigators with projects requiring assessment of clinically relevant bone outcomes and offers assistance with research subject recruitment and study management.
Core Description
Available to investigators are state-of-the-art bone imaging technologies, including dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) units for assessment of bone mineral density and body composition, and a high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HRpQCT) scanner for assessment of bone microstructure and strength.
