Learn genomic data analysis through hands-on training from experts, incorporating the latest AI-augmented tools to accelerate learning and research. The workshop is free and open to all experience levels, with academic credit available through BIOL 5624. 

Designed for researchers and students, the course builds a strong foundation in computational genomics while developing practical skills for modern genomic research. Participants will learn best-practice analytical approaches, explore emerging technologies, and apply AI-assisted workflows to improve the efficiency, reproducibility, and interpretation of genomic analyses. 

Meeting weekly throughout the semester, the workshop combines focused lectures with hands-on exercises emphasizing real-world applications. Participants learn from an interdisciplinary team of faculty and researchers with decades of experience across computational biology, genomics, and translational research. The workshop is a collaborative effort of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), McDonnell Genome Institute (MGI), Department of Medicine (DOM), Division of Hematology & Oncology, and Department of Pediatrics, and other WashU School of Medicine programs.

Sessions are held Mondays at 10 a.m. in Mid Campus Center room 11504 (11th floor). All sessions are recorded for those who cannot attend in person.
