Introduction to Open OnDemand

1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

RIS is hosting a hands-on training session, Introduction to Open OnDemand (OOD).  Designed to introduce users to an easy-to-access portal to HPC platforms.

What you’ll learn:

  • Navigating Open OnDemand: Basics of using OOD.
  • Leveraging HPC Resources for your Analysis: How to select the correct parameters.
  • Monitoring Your Jobs: How to see what jobs you are using on the system.

Why Attend:

As research expands and new analyses are developed, more computing resources are needed. This training provides users with information about a method for beginners to access those resources.

Prerequisites: This training is for users with little to no knowledge of HPC systems. There are no real prerequisites. If you would like to follow along, you will need a RIS Compute2 account. To get access to Compute2, please get onboarded to RIS.

This training will take place on Zoom; you will automatically receive a calendar invite that includes the Zoom link after registration.

For more information, please see the series webpage.
