What is meant by “technology transfer” and “commercialization”? How do I take an idea beyond laboratory research? 

In this session with OTM team experts, we will break down the technology transfer process in plain terms and describe what it takes to take an invention from the lab to the marketplace.

You’ll learn more about:

• How and when to disclose an invention
• Intellectual property (IP) protection and the WashU IP policy
• Services and resources that OTM offers
