Leverage the Power of Excel for Basic Data Management and Analysis

Looking to learn how to utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze program data? This workshop is ideal for beginners looking to build a solid foundation in Microsoft Excel and is suitable for individuals involved in entry-level data analysis and data management in their daily work, or those looking to gain experience in these areas. We will discuss when Excel is appropriate as a data management tool, best practices for use, and how to take full advantage of features such as conditional formatting and functions. Additionally, we will provide resources for further learning. No prior experience with Microsoft Excel is required for this course. However, participants should have a basic familiarity with using a computer and Microsoft products (such as Word and PowerPoint) and an understanding of fundamental computer concepts.

This is an in-person workshop that will be held on Washington University’s Danforth Campus. The exact location and direction will be emailed to registered participants before the course date. A computer or laptop equipped with Excel 2016 or later is required.
