Program for the Ethical and Responsible Conduct of Science and Scholarship

Lunch will be provided.

This workshop features presentations on WashU policies and procedures related to the responsible conduct of research (RCR) as well as case study sessions facilitated by WashU faculty. All members of the WashU community who are actively engaged in research and interested in RCR are welcome to attend. This workshop is highly recommended for postdocs, career award recipients, and other junior research team members.

• This training is anticipated to be full with a wait list. No walk-ins will be accepted.
• Registration is only available to the first 200 employees or students with WUSTL Key access to Learn@Work.
• Final registration confirmations will be sent via email two days prior to the event.

RCR Training Requirements
This event will help fulfill up to four (4) hours of the RCR requirements for both NSF and applicable NIH awards.

• NIH training requirements: Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs on NIH training grants, career awards, or fellowships are required to receive 8 hours of RCR education.
• NSF training requirements: Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs on any NSF award are required to receive 1 hour of face-to-face education per year (in addition to one-time completion of the online PERCSS curriculum).
