Research Acceleration: Applied AI in Psychological Assessments

9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Danforth Campus - Somers Family Hall, One Brooking Drive, Campus Box 1054, St. Louis, Missouri 63130

Join the DI2 Accelerator and faculty collaborators for the first monthly Research Acceleration Series, which features investigators who have participated in the Digital Transformation Research Corps sharing insights from their experience applying AI and digital research methods to their work.

The purpose of the series is to foster the exchange of ideas, methods, and lessons learned among faculty, highlight emerging digital approaches in active research projects, and provide concrete examples of how computational and AI-enabled tools can accelerate discovery across disciplines.

On Jan. 28, assistant professor of Psychological & Brain Sciences Josh Oltmanns, joined by PhD student Tong Li and DI2 Accelerator AI scientist Adith Boloor, will share insights from their Digital Transformation Research Corps project exploring multimodal AI methods for psychological assessment. The presentation will discuss the research questions motivating the project; the integration of video, audio, and text data in predictive modeling of established personality measures; and the tools, workflows, and reusable computational components that may be adapted across areas of psychological and brain sciences research.

Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required.
