Upgrades to Disclosure Forms in the Conflicts of Interest (COI) module within Research Management System (RMS) are now live! Major enhancements were implemented as a direct result of user feedback. The enhancements include:
- Improvements to the form styling for a modern look, updated navigation, and increased performance.
- Prior Approval Request Form
- Left-hand menu so you can see your progress or quickly move around. Also includes a Percent Complete meter.
- Provides some screening questions that pre-fills parts of the form based on your selections.
- External Professional Activities Disclosure
- Simpler navigation by guiding disclosers through previously disclosed interests (allowing you to update as need or simply denoting the information as remaining unchanged).
- Eliminates the single page disclosure and excessive scrolling without adding numerous clicks needed to move through the disclosure.
- Prior Approval Request Form
- Significantly improved responsiveness when navigating or adding new entities.
- Retains autosaving functionality so data is saved as soon as you move from one field to the next.
- Any missed mandatory fields will have a red box around them for easy identification.
These changes do not impact your current financial or research disclosure data.
