All research-related training has moved to Workday Learning. Training activities previously performed in Learn@Work (completing training, printing certificates, running reports, etc.) must now be performed in Workday Learning. If you run into issues accessing Workday Learning or a specific training, reference Workday Learning’s support information.
Assignments and Completions
Assignments and completions were transferred to Workday Learning over the past few days. The Workday Learning Transition from Learn@Work page has more information about this process for research courses.
The Trainings for Researchers page has details on who is automatically assigned. Some courses require training if you have ever met the criteria, even if you no longer do. For example Effort Reporting training is required if you have ever been paid by a federal grant, even if that was in the past.
A small number of assignments and completions are still being processed. If you do not see an expected assignment or completion, check again later in the week. If items are still missing by Friday, submit a ServiceNow ticket.
Compliance Profile
Researchers are encouraged to complete the Compliance Profile questionnaire in Workday. Follow the steps in Workday’s Complete Compliance Training Questionnaire tutorial in the “Access Through Workday Learning” section.
Completing the Compliance Profile assigns required training for Human Subjects, Animal Care and Use, and Environmental Health and Safety and removes unnecessary assignments if research responsibilities have changed. Assigned training appears on the Learning Home page under ‘Required for You’ within six hours.
